Ben Reuven talks to latest signing, Goalkeeper Aiden Stone
BR: Hi Aiden, thank you for your time and welcome to Lancaster City!
You’ve joined the club on a loan until January, what made you make the move?
AS: Thanks a lot! I think what made me make this move was the experience that I’ll gain from playing for Lancaster in a tough and competitive league. I’ve played further down the non-league ladder so I know what it’s like but for me, at the minute it’s about getting game time in a first team where the results matter the most.
BR: You’ve been with the club for a few weeks now during the preseason, how did you get along with the players and the gaffer?
AS: All the lads have been really welcoming from the moment I turned up to my first training session , I rang the gaffer to introduce myself before I turned up and when I spoke to him I knew this was going to be a good experience for me, I get along with all of the lads quite well they’ve all played in this league before and most have played higher so they know what is expected and so do I.
BR: For our supporters who may not know you, what should they expect from you in your role between the sticks?
AS: I think the supporters should expect me to be a very confident keeper who trusts himself and is loud and energetic, I think my distribution and shot stopping abilities are my best attributes.
