Previous Meeting
The last meeting between the Blue’s and Hednesford ended with a 1-0 win for the visiting City team.

The game started well for the home team with a handful of chances in the opening stages for Hednesford. Dan Cockerline’s attempted chip drifted wide before Dan Sweeney saw his effort go just the wrong side of the same post.

As the game continued into a rather scrappy affair, a challenge on the left of the Hednesford area saw Rob Wilson step up and fire a sweetly struck shot past goalkeeper Sheridon Martinez into the top right corner of the net to give City the lead in the 27th minute.

The second half saw Hednesford put pressure on the City defence to try and find an equaliser. In the 58th minute, City were reduced to 10 men after Craig Stanley brought down Town’s Lewis Archer who was running through on goal.

Despite Town having an extra man advantage, the home side could not break down a tough City defence.
