GAFFER’S REACTION: North Ferriby Away

We caught up with Manager Mark Fell after a 2-1 away win.

Fell said, “first half we were brilliant, one lapse in concentration cost us a goal but we created chance after chance with some excellent one touch stuff in the final 3rd and they couldn’t live with us.”

“Dave Norris had the best 30 minute cameo I’ve seen – capped a wonderful team goal for the winner, his injury is just precautionary and hopefully he’ll be ok for Saturday.”

“We got a bit tight 2nd half and didn’t retain the ball well enough but we were willing to put bodies on the line and ride things out – that’s great character and it’s another 3 points up the table.”

“The pitch was horrific and for us to show both sides of our game today was testament to the journey we’ve been on – we’re absolutely looking up this division now.”

“We’ve got a week to patch some lads up and prepare for a really big couple of games but we’re looking forward to it – it’s a nice place to be at the moment, loads of positives around and the lads are enjoying it.”

“The fans who travelled made a massive difference as well, sung their hearts out for 100 minutes – we need that every week, their a credit to the club.”

Our next game is a home tie vs Gainsborough Trinity on Saturday 8th December, 3pm KO at Giant Axe.
