Lancaster City are today happy to announce a partnership with Sporting Pay who have provided a state of the art card payment terminal to the club.
During the week this will be housed within the office and allows us to take both card and over the phone payments. On a matchday we will be positioning the terminal within the bar area. This is a step forward for the club and is part of an ongoing improvement proves at Giant Axe as we look to improve the matchday experience for supporters.
Sporting Pay are experts within sport and have prominent partnerships within Football, Cricket, Speedway and Rugby. Managing Director Chris Norminton said, “We are delighted to be teaming up with Lancaster City FC and giving fans the opportunity to pay on card, I would like to wish the club every success for the current season and look forward to working with Lancaster for many more seasons ahead.”
Speaking on behalf of Lancaster City, commercial consultant, David Broadbent added, “We are always looking to improve the club, and the addition of a card payment terminal makes life easier for supporters. Sporting Pay have a wealth of experience within the sporting world and we’re happy to welcome them to Lancaster City.”
The card payment system will be live at Giant Axe tomorrow for the visit of Matlock Town.
