City still remain at the top of the league form table, remaining unbeaten in twelve games in all competitions.

Ones to watch
Niall Cowperthwaite has been one of if not the most consistent player in City’s starting 11 over the past few weeks. When manager Mark Fell gave his verdict on the strong midfielder, he had this to say about him. “With Mark, you couldn’t get the ball off him in a phone box”. Niall dictates the speed of the game and allows the side to transition from defence to attack in a matter of seconds.

Nialle Rodney showed just what he could do when he was subbed on for the second half against Scarborough on Saturday. A player with a lot of energy and pace that gives City that extra bite up front, Nialle could well be one to keep an eye over the coming games.

David Norris never ceases to impress after he bagged his 11th league goal on Saturday, which is his 13th in all competitions so far this season. His experience at the top end of the pitch is proving to be City’s biggest threat when going forward and he will be looking to cause damage to our visitors this Tuesday.

Lewis Fensome has been showing how reliable he can be in the City backline this campaign. A cool headed defender who snuffs out most of the danger when called upon, Fensome is a player who can be relied upon to bring some calmness to the back four.
