Match Preview: Buxton FC vs Lancaster City FC

After reaching the semi-finals of the Lancashire Challenge Trophy, Lancaster City will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Northern Premier League when they travel to Buxton.
The Dolly Blues defeated Radcliffe midweek thanks to goals by Paul Dawson and Brad Carsley in a match that puts them within 90 minutes of an appearance at the Macron Stadium.
However, they Graham Lancashire will be looking to guide his side back to victory in the league having come away on wrong side of a 3-2 score line away at FC United of Manchester.
Meanwhile, Buxton head into the weekend sitting 20th in the table and have not any of their last six games with their last league victory coming against Witton Albion back in October.
Currently sitting second in the table behind South Shield, City know a win could send them top of the pile with a recent run of 12 games unbeaten playing a very important part in their rise up the NPL table.
